Terms & License
Last updated: 19 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Steadysync website and the Steadysync WordPress plugin (“the Software”), published by famosMedia Technologies Ltd. (“we”, “us”). By downloading, purchasing, installing or using the Software, you agree to these terms.
1. License grant
The free version of Steadysync is distributed via WordPress.org under the GNU General Public License v2 or later (GPLv2+). The Steadysync Pro version is licensed, not sold, to you for use according to the plan you purchase. Subject to payment and these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Steadysync Pro on the number of sites permitted by your plan, for the lifetime of the product.
2. Purchases, seller of record & refunds
Pro purchases are made through our reseller and Merchant of Record, Freemius, Inc., which is the seller for the transaction and handles billing, tax and invoicing. Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise. “Lifetime” means a one-time payment with updates for the supported life of the product; it does not imply a perpetual guarantee of the product’s existence or of third-party API availability. Refunds are handled by Freemius under its refund policy — please review it at checkout and contact us at [email protected] if you have an issue.
3. Third-party services
Steadysync integrates with Square (Block, Inc.) and WooCommerce (Automattic Inc.). We are an independent third party and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and their APIs may change or become unavailable in ways outside our control.
4. Acceptable use
You may not resell, redistribute the Pro version outside the license terms, reverse-engineer for the purpose of circumventing licensing, or use the Software unlawfully. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your store data before running any sync or migration.
5. Disclaimer of warranty
The Software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. While Steadysync is built to protect your inventory (including the anti-zeroing guard), you remain responsible for verifying results and keeping backups.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, where famosMedia Technologies Ltd. is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
