Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how famosMedia Technologies Ltd. (“Steadysync”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data in connection with the Steadysync website (steadysync.net) and the Steadysync WordPress plugin. We are the data controller for the processing described here: famosMedia Technologies Ltd., Pentadaktylou 45, 7737 Larnaca, Cyprus. Contact: [email protected].
1. This website
This website is a static marketing site. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not run third-party tracking or profiling. When you visit, our server automatically records standard technical log data (IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, and browser/user-agent). This is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating and securing the site, and log data is retained only for a short period before deletion.
If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, message content) solely to respond to your request (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR).
2. Purchases & licensing (Freemius)
Purchases of Steadysync Pro are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Freemius, Inc., which acts as the seller for the transaction and handles checkout, billing, payment data, invoicing and license delivery. When you buy or activate a license, Freemius processes the personal and payment data you provide under its own privacy policy. We receive limited licensing and order information (such as your name, email and license status) to deliver updates and support. See the Freemius Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your full card details.
3. The Steadysync plugin
The plugin runs on your WordPress/WooCommerce server. It connects your store to your own Square account to synchronise catalog and inventory data. That data flows between your WordPress site and Square under your control; we do not receive a copy of your product, customer or order data. Connection credentials (Square tokens) are stored encrypted on your own server. Square’s processing of your data is governed by Square’s (Block, Inc.) privacy terms.
If you enable health/email alerts, the plugin sends operational notifications from your own server to the email address you configure.
4. Software licensing service
To validate licenses and deliver updates for the Pro version, the plugin communicates with the Freemius licensing service, transmitting technical data such as site URL, plugin version and license key. This is necessary to provide the licensed service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
5. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. For data held by Freemius as Merchant of Record, please also contact Freemius directly.
6. International transfers
Some of our processors (e.g. Freemius) may process data outside the EEA. Where they do, appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply.
7. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
